New Restaurants Opening in RVA

Julio’s Bagels at 114 W Brookland Park Blvd is a fresh addition to the Richmond food scene. Inspired by a craving for the perfect bagel, owner Ashley Patino transformed a Pizza Bones special into a full-fledged bagel shop. The menu features naturally leavened dough, freshly milled grain, and seasonal add-ons. Recluse Coffee, a local small-batch roaster, complements the offerings.

Mason’s Famous Lobster Rolls has opened a second location on Short Pump at 11761 W Broad Street. Known for its traditional New England-style lobster rolls with lemon, butter, mayo, and celery, this chain has over 30 locations across the U.S. It also offers clam chowder, lobster bisque, and seafood salads.

Pizza Square & Italian Market, located at 8801 Three Chopt Road in Henrico, serves square pizzas and stuffed focaccia. The family-owned restaurant also offers homemade pasta and sauces for home cooking.

Akoya Japanese Kitchen at 1201 W Main Street in Richmond blends Japanese and American cuisine. The menu includes rice bowls, bento boxes, hibachi options, and appetizers.

Outpost Pizza Co. in Midlothian at 15785 W.C Main Street allows customers to build their own pizza or choose from specialty options. Sourdough or cauliflower crusts are available, along with a variety of sides, salads, and drinks.
