In a recent court filing, Hunter Biden argued that it doesn't matter if he has "ghosted" his daughter because he never agreed to be an active part of her life. This claim came as he attempted to prevent a court from re-opening the child support case for Navy. The legal dispute centers around a 2023 settlement where Hunter had agreed to provide his daughter with the profits from his artwork. Roberts also asked an Arkansas judge to have Hunter arrested for failing to fulfill the child support agreement, suggesting that he should be incarcerated until he complies with the court's orders.

In her filing, Roberts described how Navy expressed a deep longing for her father, who allegedly disappeared from her life without explanation. She highlighted that Navy, who is now six years old, recently experienced emotional trauma at a family member’s wedding when she realized her father would not walk her down the aisle or dance with her. Roberts claimed that while Hunter sent some paintings to his daughter, they were not the ones chosen by Navy, emphasizing the importance of personal connection in the agreement.

Roberts also pointed out that Hunter’s actions appear to contradict his previous statements about feeling guilty and remorseful for not being present in his daughter’s life. She argued that the court could ensure that Navy receives at least the same level of support as her half-brother, despite Hunter’s apparent disinterest in maintaining a relationship with her.

The legal battle has also brought to light Hunter’s past interactions with Lunden Roberts. According to reports, Hunter initially denied paternity, but a DNA test proved otherwise. Despite this, he reportedly distanced himself from his daughter, even after the test confirmed his identity as the father. Records from his abandoned laptop revealed that he had employed Roberts at his firm and later instructed his assistant to remove her from the company’s health insurance plan shortly after the birth of their child.

Despite these revelations, Hunter has maintained that he did not have enough money to pay child support, even though he was living in a high-cost home and driving a luxury car.
