Happy Pride, another member of KATSEYE has announced they're part of the LGBTQ+ community. Megan Skiendiel of KATSEYE shared the news that she's bisexual in a live Weverse broadcast on June 6.

Technically, Megan confirmed the news in a live chat a month ago , where she mouthed the word “bi” and nodded her head, later adding, “Yes, I am.” But the new video, in which she's trying on hair extensions with fellow queer girl Lara Raj , she's a bit more assertive about it.

In the clip, Lara hypes her groupmate, cueing her with a “Just do it. 1, 2, 3.”

“Guys, I'm coming out, I'm bisexual,” Megan says before she and Lara devolve into excited giggles, jumping around in excitement. “I'm like scared now,” she says before laughing again. A few seconds later, she relishes in the moment: “Guys, I came out on Pride Month … so give me that award, girl,” she adds to Lara, referencing the Los Angeles LGBT Center award Lara recently received.

"Next time she gets the Blooming Impact award and hey I'm gonna present it to you and be like, hey, I was the first, you were the second," Lara ribs back.

Ultimately, they finish the exchange with some more queer girl woos. “I'm proud of you Megan. Everyone say, we love bisexuals!” Lara says. Megan responds, “We love bisexuals and while I'm at it let me also raise awareness about psoriasis. I have psoriasis. ” Duality!

Just last week, Megan talked to Teen Vogue about experimentation and figuring out who she is, aesthetically and as a person.

“I don't even really truly know who I am yet,” Megan told Teen Vogue 's fashion & beauty associate editor Donya Momenian. “That's a big reason why I'm still experimenting with everything, like my style, my hair, my makeup. It's fun, but at the same time, it is scary just knowing that everyone's watching. And especially me, I struggle with anxiety, so I'm like, ‘Oh, I wonder if people like this or not.’ … it's nice to figure out what I like and who I want to be and who I am."

Earlier this year, Lara shared that she was “half fruitcake” when announcing her queerness. In May, she received the LA LGBT Center’s Blooming Impact Award and gave a heartfelt speech about why she chose to come out.

“Growing up, I dealt with a lot of complexity and fear understanding my queerness and being able to voice it out loud," she said. "I just want to say to all of you that are living your truth now, I understand how much courage it takes, and I see your bravery. I know what it’s like to be very afraid and live in that fear, but now that I’m older and I understand it, I want you to know that I will continue to speak up for us as a Brown queer girl.”

She also talked about her nervousness about being publicly queer. Though KATSEYE is a global girl group, they come from K-pop origins through the HYBE x Geffen partnership. Historically, K-pop idols have not talked openly about being LGBTQ+ — and also not confirmed straight relationships — for fear of fan and industry backlash.

“I was really scared, honestly, about how this would affect [the way] people would see me, people’s support of me and the group as KATSEYE,” Lara said. “I was met with so much love and support, and it was such a beautiful experience and it honestly helped me feel more comfortable within my queerness."
