The SmackDown Superstars With the Most to Gain at WWE Money in the Bank 2025

Table of Contents

On June 7, the SmackDown locker room will be well represented in the Men's and Women's Money in the Bank ladder matches at Money in the Bank 2025 — and any of the six Superstars pulling down the briefcase at the end of the night will have significant ramifications for the top champions on Friday nights!

Let's look at each SmackDown Superstar competing in the ladder matches — and what's on the line for them during one of the most unpredictable PLEs on the WWE calendar.

Solo Sikoa

Dangerous, unpredictable, and… running in place? Those three things describe Solo Sikoa, who, in the eyes of many fans, has been looking for motivation to move past his longstanding history with Roman Reigns and the original version of The Bloodline. SmackDown has long been the home of Sikoa and the new-and-improved Bloodline, but winning Money in the Bank would give the group an even bigger spotlight — especially when it comes to getting the attention of the reigning Undisputed WWE Champion, John Cena .

For years, Sikoa has been living in the shadow of Roman Reigns. He's been living in the shadow of Jacob Fatu. Will Money in the Bank 2025 be the breakout moment the Samoan Superstar has been waiting for his entire career?

Only time will tell.

Andrade

Talk about a Money in the Bank wildcard .

Since rejoining WWE in 2024, Andrade has been seeking that definitive statement win on the main roster that eluded him during his original run, which began in 2018. Since returning, the Mexican sensation has shown flashes of brilliance, scoring victories over impressive Superstars like Kevin Owens and LA Knight . Capable of mat-wrestling with the best technicians in the world and incorporating a high-flying style that would make many luchadors envious, there isn't anybody in the men's locker room possessing Andrade's skill set — and that could mean the difference between winning and losing in the Men's Money in the Bank ladder match.

Make no mistake about it: Andrade didn't return to WWE to not make an impact. There's no doubt that the brash Superstar has world title aspirations — and if the only thing holding him back from achieving that goal is a briefcase hanging high above the ring, then no fan should be surprised if he walks out of Los Angeles a future champion.

LA Knight

In the eyes of many fans, nobody on the SmackDown roster has more to gain at Money in the Bank 2025 than LA Knight. Since losing his United States Championship to Jacob Fatu at WrestleMania, something seems to be missing from the Megastar. The WWE Universe is certain that Knight is planning on reaching greater heights in the latter half of 2025 than he's ever reached before, and that plan could quickly come to fruition if he manages to pull down the briefcase in the men's ladder match!

For years, it seemed like LA Knight has been focused on nothing but the United States Championship — could this be the moment he needs to set his sights on the Undisputed WWE Championship?

Alexa Bliss

Since her epic — and viral — return at the Royal Rumble (just listen to that crowd reaction), Alexa Bliss has been waiting in the wings for her moment. Yes, she's already won Money in the Bank before, but something tells us that Little Miss Bliss would love to carry that briefcase around once again in 2025!

Her first run in WWE was the stuff of legends — countless titles, memorable feuds, and unmatched, infectious energy propelled her to the top of the women's locker room. While she's still the same Alexa, becoming Ms. Money in the Bank for a second time would be the ultimate reminder to the WWE Universe (and the locker room) that she will forever be a force to be reckoned with.

Remember, no female WWE Superstar has ever failed to cash in their Money in the Bank contract successfully — so if Alexa Bliss is the last woman standing on Saturday, her title aspirations are all but guaranteed.

Giulia

Much like her Raw counterpart, Roxanne Perez, Giulia has buzzsawed through the competition since her arrival in NXT — winning the NXT Women's Championship soon after debuting — and now she looks to make an impact on the main roster. Giulia is the latest SmackDown acquisition — and what better way to send a message to the locker room than becoming Ms. Money in the Bank?

After conquering the Japanese wrestling world and then climbing to the top of NXT in record time, winning Money in the Bank would be a fitting next chapter for the talented Superstar. Of course, it's easier said than done, but Giulia has one significant advantage over the other women competing: she's a relatively unknown entity.

In other words, the rest of the locker room has no idea what Giulia is capable of in a ladder match, and that could be just what she needs to pull down that briefcase Saturday night!

Naomi

For months, the former WWE Women's Champion has found herself locked into a rivalry with former friend Jade Cargill, and Money in the Bank 2025 will be Naomi's best chance to move past that feud and focus on singles glory.

(Of course, we have to point out that Naomi is the reason why she's been battling Cargill for so long — Naomi put her out of action last year, setting up her own Cena-esque villainous turn to the dark side.)

Sometimes, it feels like Naomi is the afterthought of the women's division — has her time on top finally passed? Of course, nobody denies her in-ring skills, but Naomi could change the feel of the SmackDown women's locker room with a run as Ms. Money in the Bank. An unpredictable, evil version of Naomi walking around with a guaranteed title shot of her choosing could very well be the most dangerous outcome of Money in the Bank 2025!

You can tune in to Peacock to watch Money in the Bank 2025 on Saturday, June 7. In the meantime, catch up on all things WWE Universe on Peacock .
